deviantART is so different! I think I missed one entire version during my absence. Can you believe, I have been here for FIVE YEARS?! And now. . . I still love it, and am having such fun exploring, learning, and still loving art.

In other news I have something very very exciting to share with you!!! During this past semester I applied for transfer to the University of Maryland and today I finally heard back: I GOT IN!!!!! :bouncy:

AH!!!!! I am so thrilled I don't even know what to do. I can finally move forward and discover what I want to DO with my life!!! Or at least I can take more interested classes at a bigger (and more impressive) university.



And now I shall continue to explore DA.

Oh my goodness, how long it has been. The last time I posted anything was April, the last time I submitted anything was February, and the last time I took a photograph I actually wanted to share with the art world was October!!! :dies:

I am in a complete art slump. More than that to be honest, I'm in a LIFE slump. So to speak. This past semester was such a whirlwind of discovery and strangeness. I started with four classes and ended with two. I did get two A's in the courses I completed, however that leaves my final grades for the semester spelling WAWA (two withdraws) -- which is a little hilarious if you ask me.

For those who don't know my previous PLAN was to get a double degree from my JC in Business and Fine Arts, then transfer to a four year Uni and study to be an Accountant. This was my first semester taking a course in Accounting and guess what?! I freaking HATE accounting!!!

Yeah, so now I'm waiting to hear back from Uni about my transfer application and I have NO IDEA what I am going to do career wise with my life. I am actually, honestly, completely at a loss for a life goal and direction. Art is certainly still dear to my heart however that was never a career path I had considered but now I just don't know.

I suppose that's why I haven't posted anything (or in fact taken any photographs that I feel worthy of posting). In addition to just having been busy and having art block I also am not sure where art fits into my life right now. It's important, but is it is something I want to, you know, pursue?

In any event, I'm going to put an effort into my art because I love photography and art and this community. I've been going through my "Activity" and OMG people really love that Dice picture I did pinkpetunia.deviantart.com/art… WOWSA ! So thanks for that, you guys rock. And yeah, let's see where we go from here!

So we're just going to ignore my prolonged absence and my severe lack of any new art because I just don't feel like getting into it.

I do have one thing to say though: I love you deviantART. I really really love you.

Anyway, as the title may lead you to believe I will indeed by at the one and only Otakon this evening!!! Squeee!!! I've been making a list of tables to check out over at the Artist's Alley and I am SO STOKED!!! I hope to see some of you there, for now I shall go through my 5k plus inbox very very slowly.
